On Sept. 27 at 11:58 a.m. a student reported the theft of a bicycle, valued at $50, from the bike rack on the east side of Brophy Hall. The bike was found in the Tanner Circle bike rack later that day.
On Sept. 27 at 8:26 p.m. two students in Tanner Hall were judicially referred for cannabis.
On Sept. 27 at 11:35 p.m. Jaiane McGee, 19, of 219 C Grote, was arrested in Grote Hall on a McDonough County warrant for failure to appear. She was transported to McDonough County Jail at 11:37 where she was lodged pending bond.
On Sept. 28 at 11:26 a.m. a student reported the theft of his iPhone 7, valued at $685 with the case, from the bathroom on the 10th floor of Thompson Hall earlier that morning. The incident is under investigation.
On Sept. 28 at 2:30 p.m. a student reported that she was sexually harassed by a few males on campus while walking on the north quad near the football field at 11 p.m. Sept. 27. The student stated that a group of males began yelling sexually explicit statements, and then the men approached the subject, and one of the males grabbed her purse and fled. After the student used pepper spray on the other individuals, the purse was retuned and they fled the scene. The incident is under investigation.
On Sept. 28 at 4:30 p.m. a student reported that she was sexually assaulted by a male known to her. The assault occurred in the evening hours of Sept. 25 in a residence hall. The incident is under investigation.
On Sept. 28 at 9:07 p.m. a student in Henninger Hall was judicially referred for cannabis on West University Drive.
On Sept. 29 at 12:42 a.m. Orlando Mattox, 18, and Kyler Hughes, 19, both of 909 Bayliss Hall, were each issued a notice to appear Oct. 31 for a Macomb City ordinance violation for possession of cannabis in Bayliss Hall.
On Sept. 29 at 2:19 a.m. Richard Bongeorno, 18, of 519 Bayliss Hall, was issued a notice to appear Oct. 31 for a Macomb City ordinance violation for possession of cannabis in Bayliss Hall.
On Sept. 29 at 2:52 a.m. OPS and the Macomb Fire Department responded to a fire alarm in the Henninger Hall fifth floor lounge. No smoke or fire were found and no injuries were reported.
